BBQ & Ice Cream
Work has started on ‘Harry’s Smokehouse’ and Ice-cream bar at Staverton. With outdoor dining possible again from April 12th, we’re joining the bandwagon with an all-day and early evening (weather permitting) barbecue offer at the Staverton shop. There might even be the occasional pizza night and, as suggested, dessert will be ice cream. Whatever happened to the Knickerbocker Glory or Ice Cream Sundae? Well, they won’t just be Sundays ‘chez Harry’s’.
It’s all going to be in the old allotment field, on the other side of the hedge as you come down the drive and we’re hoping for great things – to help lift the gloom of the last year. We’re planning something similar for Yealmpton but it will be from the café garden and obvious for all to see. Opening day at Staverton will be sometime towards the end of April; so watch this space and roll on, the rosé garden summer.
