Join us on Saturday 17th June, for our ‘Field Day’ celebration to mark 40 years of Ben’s Farm Shop.
“We couldn’t let 40 years go by without a bit of a knees up. We want the Field Day to be a celebration of ‘good food from good farming’ and an opportunity to thank our suppliers and customers who’ve supported us over the years” – Ben.
The Field Day will champion some of the Farm Shop’s much loved local producers, including Sharpham Cheese, Riverford Dairy, Dartmoor Ice Cream, Curator Coffee, Brindisa who will be hosting stalls and sharing their expertise. Special guest, Willie Harcourt-Cooze, founder of Willie’s Cacao, will be giving a talk about the chocolate-making process, from ‘bean to bar’, and long-time friend of the Farm Shop, ‘Pam the Jam’ Corbin will demonstrate the art of bottling and preserving fruit, just in time for the summer glut.
There will be plenty of space to lay out a picnic rug, enjoy a pint and soak up some summer tunes courtesy of local band, the Riverford Barn Band.
