Four Fruit Marmalade

I’m a confirmed marmalade addict so many won’t share the anguish that I went through when my aging and rapidly atrophying taste buds started putting up a bit  of resistance to Almond Thief sourdough toast with a copious spread of our Seville marmalade.

There was just too much going on. You’d have thought they’d work together but not for me. The rest of the household all do jam and that seemed to work so I started experimenting with sweeter, three (or four if you count Seville and sweet oranges as separate) fruit marmalade. I love it. Somehow the grapefruit brings depth and balance and the sweet oranges tone down the Sevilles.

I got my intake back up to a jar a week but can’t manage more than that. We made about a thousand jars so I think I can spare a jar or two for the shops.
