Raising money for Syrian charity

‘Soup for Syria’, (where we sold homemade soup and donated some of the profits to local charity, luckofbirth.org) now feels like more of a winter thing.

So to keep the impetus up, we’re having a Syrian summer (we hope that doesn’t sound too glib) with a couple of mezze style dips.

We’re offering our spiced Labneh (ultra strained yoghurt with spices) and new Muhammara (roast red pepper, walnuts, chili, pomegranate molasses thickened with a few, breadcrumbs) in pots for £2.25 with 50p a pot going to Theo and Sam Nelson’s Totnes based ‘Luck of Birth’ refugee charity.

We’ve raised about £500 with the soup so thanks to you all.
