Top red wine from Domaine Begude, with low sulphites. 21 day traditional punching down followed by 12 months in 600l demi-muids. Seductive cherries and raspberries with a gentle softness and roundness- a joy! Traditionally delicious with flighted game but a good match for most all meat dishes.
‘Admirably ambitious Pinot from James Kinglake near Limoux. Not yet ready and really quite dark. Sweet macerated cherries suggestion on the palate. Not Burgundian but a well made oaked Pinot with a finish that's still quite chewy.’ Jancis Robinson
